Fuzzy Buddy is a local wedding dog handling service for couples marrying on the Tweed Coast and in the Tweed Valley. We're based in the Northern Rivers and have been caring for dogs at weddings since 2022. Your dog gets a dedicated, police checked and pet first aid qualified handler for the whole day, from pick-up to drop-off.
What we do on your wedding day
- Transport – we collect your dog from home, bring them to the venue and take them home again.
- Dressing – bows, flower collars or ring pouches fitted before the ceremony.
- Ceremony roles – ring bearer, dog of honour, flower dog or a surprise guest walk.
- Photos – we hold the lead just out of frame and step out for dog-only shots.
- Cocktail hour cameo – a short appearance with your guests if you'd like.
- Overnight care – add our overnight package and pick up your dog the next morning.

Do you charge a travel fee for Tweed Coast weddings?
The Tweed Coast is on our doorstep. Any travel fee depends on your venue and is always included in your quote.
Can you look after our dog overnight after the wedding?
Yes. With our overnight package your dog stays with us, in our home rather than kennels, and you pick them up the next morning.
How early should we book?
As early as you can. We take a limited number of weddings each weekend, and 2026 and 2027 dates are open now.
