Everything you wanted to ask

Good questions .

Weddings.

How far do you travel?+

We're based in the Northern Rivers and travel Australia wide for weddings. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance to your venue — it's always included in your quote.

What if our dog is nervous?+

We always recommend a meet & greet first. If a full day isn't right for them, we'll suggest a short ceremony cameo instead — their comfort comes before the photos.

Can our venue say no to dogs?+

Some do. We're happy to speak with your venue and provide our insurance and police check documentation.

Do you look after more than one dog?+

Yes. Two is common, more is possible — we'll bring an extra handler if needed.

When should we book?+

As early as you can. We take a limited number of weddings each weekend, and 2026 and 2027 dates are open now.

On the wedding day.

Do you provide transport?+

Yes — tell us in your enquiry and we'll collect and return your dog. Add the pick-up and drop-off details in the transport box on the form.

What happens after the ceremony?+

Photos, a cameo at cocktail hour if you'd like, then home or into overnight sitting. If you've booked overnight care, pick-up is the next morning.

Who holds the lead in photos?+

We do, just out of frame, and we step out for the shots you want dog-only.

What do you bring?+

Water, treats, towels, poo bags, a spare lead, a clean-up kit and a calm handler.

Dog sitting.

Where do the dogs stay?+

In our home, not kennels — same beds, same routine, small numbers only.

Is there a meet and greet?+

Always, and it's free. Nothing is confirmed until everyone is comfortable.

Do you give updates?+

Daily photos and messages, plus a full handover when you're home.

Can you give medication?+

Yes — tell us the dosage and timing in your booking and we'll follow it exactly.

Bookings & payment.

How do I book dog sitting?+

Through the booking form on the Enquire page. New customers fill in the full form; if you've stayed with us before, the returning customer form is much shorter.

How far ahead should I book sitting?+

Overnight stays need at least three days' notice, and seven days over holiday periods. Late bookings can attract a last-minute booking fee.

Is there a holiday surcharge?+

Yes — a non-refundable surcharge applies to services falling on public holidays and over our peak season (15 December – 15 January and 15 March – 15 April). The Service Agreement has the detail.

What's your cancellation policy?+

Day care, drop-ins and walks need 48 hours' notice for a credit. Boarding and house sitting need seven days; inside that, 50% of the booking is payable. Full terms are in the Service Agreement.

What do you need from us before a stay?+

Up-to-date vaccinations, tick, flea and worming, and details of any medication. Every new dog also meets us first face to face or virtually at a free meet and greet.

Shop & orders.

How do I choose a bow size?+

Sizes run XS to L based on collar width. If you're between sizes, size up — or email us with your dog's collar measurement.

How long does shipping take?+

Bows are made in small batches and ship within 3–5 business days, Australia wide.

Can I return something?+

We don't offer returns for change of mind — we're exchange only. Unused pieces in original condition can be exchanged within 14 days, with postage both ways at your cost. Custom pieces can't be exchanged, and anything faulty is always covered.

Can I order a custom colour?+

Often, yes — especially for weddings. Send your palette through at least six weeks before the day.
